Sustainability

We are committed to sustain…

According to UN; Sustainability is a simple concept. In 1987, the UN Brundtland Commission defined sustainable development as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

The universal definition of sustainability is in consideration and activity of VASI. Sustainability Assessments on Labor, Health & Safety and Environmental performance at VASI; over the years the company conducted internally and hosted a number of sustainability assessments in facilities by several brands, buyers and MSIs. The sustainability assessments raise awareness and help to improve the capacity of management systems and conditions.

VASI supports industrial collaboration to minimize duplication effort by using converged industry tools such as the Higg Index and any others.

VASI is a signatory of UN Global Compact Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) since 2019. Furthermore, VASI collaborates with various stakeholders such as NGOs, brands, universities/academics and service providers.
