SDGs 3, 8, 17 Achievements beyond legal requirements together with the international certifications.
SDGs 5, 10, 17 Collaboration with UN Agencies, Government, NGOs, Universities/Academics, and professionals to conduct capacity building projects/programs. Supporting and using converged industry initiatives/tools such as SLCP, HIGG INDEX, and ZDHC to assess health & safety, environmental and chemical performances at the facilities, and aiming to minimize duplication effort.
SDGs 6, 13 Providing standards beyond legal requirements on wastewater and drinking water. Collection and reuse of rainwater.
SDGs 8, 12 Regular facility assessments based on local legislations and universal standards.
SDGs 9 Increasing percentage of digitalization and lean manufacturing systems within operations.
SGSs 9, 12, 13 Circularity; 10% of 2020 processed textile fiber waste turned into the punching bags. Using waste heat from work equipment to warm inside of the factory. Besides local legislation waste management on recycling, reuse, reduction inline according to ISO 14001.
SDGs 12 Providing sustainable materials/products since 2015 via certifications.
SDGs 13 Carbon Footprint measurements and reporting since 2018 according to ISO 14064-1.
SDGs 7, 13, 17 As of January 2021; I-REC certified clean and renewable energy usage in all VASI facilities.

- DÖNSA-Yozgat will produce about 30% of its energy from the solar system, in addition, offices will be lighting by sun-tracker systems.
- Implementation of RCS certificate.
- Conduct SLCP self-assessment and third party verification at the facilities.
- A new women empoverment project named as "Gücünü Gör - See Your Power" will be conducted in collaboration with KADAV.

SDGs 5 VASI became a signatory of the UN Global Compact Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) as of 2019.
SDGs 13, 17 VASI became a signatory of the UN Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action (UNFCCC) as of 2021.

Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM)
SDGs 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 17 VASI Group Companies are conducting and completing the Higg Index FEM tool once a year and hosting verification. Based on the verification, the Istanbul factory has achieved 88% and the Yozgat factory has achieved 86% as verified score.
